Shopping

I took my Vivitar P|S out for a walk with a roll of 800Iso Kodak. Most of the shots came out with some sort of image, but nothing very grand. Some weird motion shots and some very underexposed shots as well. It’s a fixed f/22 with the same instant shutter every shot, so I know it needs lots of light. I think unless it’s used on a bright sunny cloudless day, shots won’t turn out that great.

However, the wide angle is awesome at 22mm and the vignetting is very Lomo-esq. I’ll try a few more shots before giving up on it.

Through the Grid

Camera : Nikon EM w 50mm 1.8

Film : Fuji 800

Location : Experimental Farm

It feels good to have some new images to post. It’s been forever since I’ve ‘shot’ for fun. After school ended, I was tired. I’ve done a few event shoots, but no leisure shooting. Today I went out with the Stefs, my Nikon, Minolta and Konica, few different types of rolls and an open mind.

There’s a few old images from the rolls aswell, since I loaded two bodies months ago!

Enjoy :)

Born Into Brothels

Born Into Brothels

Born Into Brothels

Today I decided not to post my own picture, but post a picture that has inspired me.

I watched a very good documentary tonight called ‘Born Into Brothels’ by Zana Briski.

Imagine the world of prostitution through the eyes of a child.

Zana Briski finds these children, gives them cameras and teaches them how to compose.

Incredible.

This is an image taken by one of those children.

Kodak Gold | Colour 35mm | OM-1

Grain is Fun-a! :B

So my light meter is most definitely not working in my OM-1… which is fine… I just need to get a battery for my portable light meter before I shoot my next roll. I still enjoy this shot though, could just use a bit more information in the arm area. It’s at Black Rapids in the fall…. it poured rain on us that day while we were shooting portraits during class. Fun times!

This shot I took back in the 50s while I was touring with Elvis.

Just kidding :P

We had a birthday party for my uncle in a cool room somewhere, and I liked the table and chairs haha
